Jack started his career working in data analytics and business development at one of Round13’s portfolio companies, Statflo. Now at Round13, he is focused on sourcing new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and supporting current investees.
John is passionate about discovering world-leading companies and mentoring great entrepreneurs. Through his investment in Lavalife, John met Bruce which eventually led to their co-founding of Round13 Capital.
Josh is a Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) by training, spending nearly a decade with Grant Thornton LLP in Toronto where he became a Senior Manager in the Assurance practice serving clients across various industries, and supported internal clients on complex accounting and reporting matters as Central Canada’s Practice Support Advisor.
Since joining Round13, Miranda has been actively involved in sourcing new investment opportunities, conducting due diligence and providing support to current investees.
Vaneh has worked with Round13 since the firm’s founding and has been instrumental to the Round13’s growth.
Bronwyn Smith is the CEO of RealServus and myAbode, where she is redefining the future of Canadian real estate through technology and innovation.

Before leading RealServus, Bronwyn held senior roles at Shopify, Ada, Influitive, and Airbnb, driving customer experience and operational scale across global markets. She began her career at Bain & Company, where she developed the strategic and analytical foundation that continues to guide her work transforming one of Canada’s most important industries.
Amin is the Founder and Managing Partner of Maple Tree Capital, an investment firm focused on Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition (ETA). He is passionate about backing ambitious entrepreneurs who choose to build their futures by acquiring and operating enduring businesses. With a particular focus on self-funded searchers, Amin has advised and invested in dozens of CEOs as they transition into ownership, serving as a trusted board member, strategic thought partner, and mentor during their journey from first-time operator to long-term value creator.
Amin is also a Venture Partner at Round13 Capital, where he leads the firm’s ETA investment strategy. In this role, he partners with entrepreneurs and founders solving succession challenges, bringing Round13’s expertise in technology and growth to transform businesses into modern, tech-enabled leaders positioned for long-term success.
Outside of work, Amin is a proud husband and father, an avid traveller and culinary explorer, and a devoted (some might say overly optimistic) fan of Toronto’s sports teams.
Thamba Tharmalingam is a seasoned turn-around executive with a global track record in scaling SaaS, tech, media, and telecommunications companies. At Round13, he drives value creation across portfolio companies and serves on the boards of Routethis, Statflo, System-3, Apex Group Technologies, and MapsPeople.
He also serves as CEO of MapsPeople, a Round13 and Apex Group Technologies portfolio company, where he is leading the charge in transforming the business into an AI-powered spatial intelligence platform.
Prior to Round13, Thamba held executive and C-suite roles at PAR Technology, EGLX, Rogers Communications, and Bell Canada, following an early engineering career at AMD. His global experience includes growth, IPO, M&A, transformation, and turnaround situations. Thamba holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo and an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University. He has also completed Postgraduate Executive Education at Harvard Business School.
Michael is the CEO of TIMIA Capital, a Round 13 portfolio company, where he leads a dedicated team that provides flexible debt capital to growing technology businesses.
Prior to joining TIMIA, Michael served as President of Torinit, a digital services firm, and CEO of FindWRK, a recruiting marketplace. Prior to that, he spent six years growing Langhaus Financial into Canada’s largest alternative life insurance lender. He joined Langhaus in 2015 as its first executive hire, after starting his career in management consulting with Bain & Company.
