Ryan is a member of the Round13 Growth investment team and is actively involved with executing new investments.
Prior to joining Round13 Growth, Ryan held investing roles at Ripple Ventures and White Star Capital, working with founders and evaluating investment opportunities ranging from the seed stage to series B.
Ryan holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo, where he was a founding member of the UW Student Venture Fund.
Danielle is a twenty-four-year Certified General Accountant/ Chartered Professional Accountant with twenty plus years of clean-up, start-up and reorganization experience in Venture Capital, Technology, and various service-related industries. She has developed, managed the full back office, accounting, financial and investor reporting functions for Venture Capital Funds as well as the Fund Managers, and service-oriented corporations in Ontario & Alberta.
At Round 13, YJ is focused on conducting due diligence on new investment opportunities and working with existing investees.
Prior to joining Round 13, YJ was a member of the investment team at Sageview Capital, a $1bn+ AUM growth equity fund based in the US. Prior to that, YJ worked as a management consultant at Bain & Company in their Toronto office.
YJ holds an Honors Business Administration degree from Ivey Business School.
Alex is an original member of the Round13 Growth investment team and is actively involved in originating and executing new investments. He brings to the team nearly 10 years of experience in growth equity, private equity and corporate finance in the Canadian and European markets.
Prior to joining Round13 Growth, Alex was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs in the Principal Investment Area, the equity investing arm of GS’ Merchant Banking Division, based in London, UK. Prior to that, he held investing and corporate finance roles at Teachers’ Private Capital and RBC Capital Markets.
Alex holds an MBA from INSEAD and an HBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.
Sanjiv joined Round13 in the beginning of 2020 to establish the Round13 Growth Fund as a Founder and Managing Partner. Sanjiv has spent 20+ years in the technology & healthcare sectors, and is one of Canada’s most experienced and widely respected growth company advisors and financiers.
Prior to establishing the Round13 Growth Fund, Sanjiv headed the Technology, Media, Telecommunication (“TMT”), Sustainability and Healthcare investment banking group at a Canadian bank owned dealer.
During his professional career Sanjiv has advised a wide variety of Canadian growth companies on M&A, IPO and capital raising initiatives, including leading transactions for several of the most prominent public software-as-a-service companies in Canada. Some of Sanjiv’s most recent trusted clients have included Lightspeed POS, Shopify, Kinaxis, Halogen and Solium, and Sanjiv has acted in advisory roles for many other long-term clients including Pure Technologies, Com Dev, and RuggedCom.
Sanjiv holds a Bachelor of Arts, Economics from the University of Western Ontario, a MBA, Finance from the Schulich School of Business at York University, and an LLB, Law from Osgoode Hall Law School.
Brent is responsible for evaluating new investment opportunities, conducting due
diligence and providing support to our
Brent graduated from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business
where he was both an athletic and
academic All-American for his leadership in the classroom and as a two-time captain of
the varsity lacrosse team. Brent
has previous work experience within CIBC’s finance division and as a management
consultant in PwC’s San Francisco
Curtis joined Round13 Growth Fund at it’s inception, and is engaged in all aspects of the investment process from sourcing new investment ideas to supporting portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Round13 Growth Fund, Curtis was a Manager in the Strategy & Business Operations group at a global payments technology start-up, and prior to that was an analyst within the mergers & acquisitions investment banking group at a Canadian bank owned dealer.
Curtis graduated from the University of Calgary, Haskayne School of Business with a Bachelor of Commerce degree concentrated in Finance.
Since joining Round13, Brahm has been actively involved in conducting due diligence on
new investment opportunities and
working with existing investees.
Prior to joining Round13, Brahm worked in Private Equity at ONCAP Management Partners,
the mid-market private equity
fund of Onex Corporation and in Investment Banking in the Mergers & Acquisitions group
at RBC Capital Markets.
Brahm holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Western Ontario and a
Master of Finance degree from the
Schulich School of Business.

Vaneh is the Director of Operations at Round13. She makes sure everything gets done
right. Vaneh spent ten years
overseeing the financial reporting, customer experience and employee management of a
high-end boutique, and so she
brings to R13 a wide range of skills and a sharp eye to detail. If you have any
questions about R13, Vaneh is a good
place to start.
Craig’s main interest is helping entrepreneurs to build powerful sales & marketing
machines. He was the co-founder and
CEO of Fitzii, an online recruiting company that uses a predictive algorithm to match
candidates to employers (sold to
the Ian Martin Group).
Craig worked at Deloitte – initially as a Marketing Director and later as a strategy
consultant in the Enterprise Risk
practice. Before that, Craig co-founded and led Ethos, the corporate responsibility
practice of JWT – the world’s
fourth-biggest ad agency.
Craig has an MBA from the Rotman School of Management at University of Toronto. He was on
the Advisory Board of
AutoShare (sold to Enterprise) and, until recently, was on the Board at Evergreen.
